“When G-d saw that he had turned aside to look, G-d called to him out of the bush: “Moses! Moses!” He answered, “Here I am (Hineni)". Exodus 3:4

Moses’s response, 'Hineni', Here I am, is an affirmation of complete embodiment in front of the living divine presence. Bring all of yourself here, now: your body, Breath & Soul.

“And G-d breathed into his nostrils, a soul-breath of life” (Genesis 2:7) and the Zohar adds,  “One who exhales, exhales from his innermost being”.

Each soul is an extension of G-d’s “breath”, that is connected to her innermost essence. The word Neshama/Soul is deeply related to the word Neshima/Breath, because G-d breathes our divine soul into us. Our inhale is the cosmic exhale. Divine breath is the great sustainer of life.

Kavannah: My Intention

Join me on the path as together we commit to deepening our connection with our body through a balanced movement & mindfulness practice for the Self, for our family and for our community.

I vow to; offer enriching Awareness and Empowerment practices to reveal that our bodies are sanctuaries, and to treat them as such.

I bring; the dedicated disciplines and lineages of Yoga, infused with principles of Judaism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, devotional Chassidic kavanot, Iyenger principles and neuropsychology.

I create; a consciousness network of strengthened and awakened yoga and torah students who seek to refine the kinetics of their own practice; a deepening of the subtle realm.
